About us

Amel is a non-sectarian association, created in 1979 in response to the atrocities of the Lebanese civil war & Israeli aggression in southern Lebanon.

Amel operates through 32 centers, 6 mobile medical units, 2 mobile education units, and 2 protection units, providing services for more than four decades in the most marginalized regions of Lebanon, ensuring dignified access to basic human rights.
