"This initiative aims to empower youth to take the lead in addressing climate change through recycling and waste reduction. By introducing a system of three colored bins for paper, plastic, and other waste at the center and nearby shops, young people will develop sustainable habits and inspire their community to follow. The collected plastic and paper will be delivered to the contacted recycling centers, [جمعية احلام لاجىء-صيدا- الحسبة] , [مؤسسة محمد داغر-الجناح-بيروت], and [Live Love Recycle-Beirut] which will provide A4 paper or paper tissues in return. These resources will then be reinvested into youth activities at the center, creating both environmental and social benefits.
The expected impact is a cleaner environment, more environmentally conscious youth, and a model of sustainability that can be expanded beyond the center.
the initiative will take place in wadi zayneh center in 18/9/2025 from 10 till 1.

We meet with youth to plan and share recycling ideas. We learn how to sort paper, plastic, and other waste. We put bins in the center and nearby shops. We send paper and plastic for recycling. We make new things from waste and show them in an exhibition
