As part of its commitment to empowering youth through community engagement, the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) will organize a Youth-Led Reforestation Initiative in Qaa Al Rim, with the participation of approximately 30 youth. Building on the knowledge and skills acquired by participants during the Life Skills Training on Problem Solving and Effective Communication, participants will work together to plant trees and contribute to the restoration of green spaces while applying teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills in a practical setting. The initiative will take place at 10:00 AM on 6 Aug 2026. All necessary materials will be provided, including seedlings, planting tools, gloves, and refreshments. Facilitators will oversee the activity to ensure that the initiative is implemented in a safe and organized manner. This initiative reflects the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST)’s commitment to promoting environmental sustainability, fostering youth leadership, and encouraging young people to actively contribute to serving their communities.
