Participants will gain practical knowledge about volunteerism, active citizenship, teamwork, and the role of youth in serving their communities and preserving public spaces. They will also learn the fundamentals of community engagement, effective communication, social responsibility, and how volunteer initiatives can create meaningful and lasting impact.


Opportunity requirements

Applicants must be between 18 and 24 years old. Commitment to attending the assigned activity Time. Willingness to participate in field activities and work collaboratively in a team. Commitment to following safety guidelines and respecting public spaces. Enthusiasm for community service; previous volunteering experience is not required.


The training and participation plan
It includes an explanation of the activities and steps necessary to implement the opportunity, with an explanation of the time periods and costs for each activity and for the entire opportunity, as providing this information accurately reflects the professionalism of those in charge of the opportunity and their experience in the field of community work.

00:00 – 00:15 Reception and Registration: Welcoming participants, distributing materials (gloves, waste bags, and planting equipment), dividing participants into working groups, and explaining safety procedures. 00:15 – 00:30 Opening Session: A welcome speech by the organizing entity, followed by a speech from a representative of Tripoli Municipality (if available), then an introduction to the initiative’s objectives and the implementation process of the activities. 00:30 – 01:10 Phase One: Cleaning public spaces inside the park, while integrating the first interactive activity/puzzle aimed at promoting the concepts of volunteering and teamwork. 01:10 – 01:50 Phase Two: Planting seedlings and taking care of green spaces, along with implementing a second interactive activity related to environmental awareness and social responsibility. 01:50 – 02:35 Phase Three: Continuing cleaning activities, organizing public facilities, and implementing the remaining games and interactive activities distributed throughout the work stages. 02:35 – 02:50 Closing Tour: A final tour inside the park to showcase achievements, collect equipment, and ensure that the area is left in a better condition. 02:50 – 03:00 Closing Session: Taking group photos, delivering words of appreciation to participants and partners, and encouraging participants to continue engaging in volunteer work and joining future initiatives.
