OBJECTIVE
The Tree House Foundation is supporting the School of Citizenship initiative by recruiting Lebanese youth volunteers to support the second phase of the project.
The main objective of the follow-up visits is to accompany schools across different regions of Lebanon during the post-training phase. Volunteers will be assigned to visit private schools within their designated geographical areas, focusing on governance and civic projects.
ABOUT THE INITIATIVE
The School of Citizenship aims to strengthen civic education by supporting schools that encourage student participation, promote shared values, and foster positive community engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct two scheduled visits to private schools within the assigned region.
- Listen to schools and identify their needs as expressed by the school administration and teaching staff.
- Filling out a designated form during the visit.
KEY DATES
- Onboarding and Training: Week of February 23
- First School Visit: Beginning of March
- Second School Visit: Mid-May
- End of Mission: End of May

REQUIREMENTS & SELECTION CRITERIA - Language Skills: Proficiency in Arabic for communication within schools and the ability to write reports in English. - Soft Skills: Ability to listen actively and communicate respectfully with school administration and teachers. - Geographic Knowledge: Residence in or familiarity with the assigned region/governorate. - Technical Background: Attention to detail; experience in a school environment is considered an asset. - Values Alignment: Neutrality, professionalism, and commitment to the core values of the initiative. EXPECTED COMMITMENT - Attendance at the specialized training day at the beginning of the activity. - Completion of the agreed number of visits. - Participation in regular or ad-hoc meetings when needed.
