This volunteer activity is targeted at youth aged 15 to 25 and provides an excellent opportunity to participate in environmental conservation efforts. Participants should be students at Beit Faqs Public School, ensuring support for local youth engagement and encouraging community involvement. Introduction and Icebreaker Discussion on “Why Our Planet Matters” and presentation of the Greener Lebanon Project. Understanding Climate Change: An interactive session covering the causes, impacts, and importance of climate change in our daily lives. From Awareness to Action: Demonstration of how to implement a recycling program in the classroom and throughout the school. Students will identify locations for recycling bins and discuss a waste collection schedule. Environmental and Volunteer Club Initiatives Explanation of how youth can implement ongoing initiatives, including: Climate preservation campaigns Waste reduction projects Volunteer opportunities in school and the community Planning and Commitment: Students will prepare action plans for their classrooms and schoolyards and commit to regular participation in environmentally friendly activities and volunteer projects.
