The academic support volunteer opportunity within social care institutions aims to improve children’s educational performance through structured and continuous learning assistance. Volunteers support children with their homework, strengthen their skills in languages and scientific subjects, and provide educational reinforcement for primary and lower secondary school levels, using supportive and child-centered teaching approaches.
Most academic support activities are implemented during the afternoon in several centers. In addition, one center requires volunteers during the morning to assist with organizing school planners, monitoring daily lessons, and providing individualized academic support based on each child’s learning needs.
This opportunity contributes to enhancing children’s academic achievement, building their self-confidence, and supporting their educational development within a safe and encouraging learning environment.

The volunteer should have an appropriate educational level that qualifies them to provide academic support for primary and lower secondary students. Ability to teach languages or scientific subjects. Commitment to attendance according to one of the following options: two days per week at two hours per day, or one day per week for four hours. Ability to work with children within a safe and supportive educational environment. Commitment to educational ethics and child protection principles. Demonstrated patience, responsibility, and discipline.
