Within the framework of the Greener Lebanon project, supported by UNICEF in Lebanon and implemented in collaboration with Inara Association and Al-Hamidiyah Association, we aim to educate and empower youth, as well as enhance their participation in climate action through initiatives with sustainable impact. As part of this initiative, students will take part in a planting activity (for one and a half hours), and participating students will receive a participation certificate from the Wehnaa platform in recognition of their active contribution in Mishha – Akkar

Al-Hamidiyah Association is organizing a volunteer tree-planting campaign in Mishha on December 28, starting at 10:30 AM, aiming to plant 300 trees in the area. Around 200 volunteers are expected to participate, beginning with safety instructions and team assignments. Equipped with gloves and protective vests, the teams will collect and sort waste until approximately 12:00 PM, with a break and refreshments provided midway. The campaign will conclude with documenting the results and thanking the volunteers. This initiative aims to raise environmental awareness, encourage teamwork, and contribute to greening public areas in Mishha – Akkar.
