Let’s talk about the planet we call home! As part of the Greener Lebanon Project, we will organize an education session on Climate Change for youth. During this fun and interactive session, students will discover what climate change really means, why it’s happening, and how it affects our daily lives. Together, we’ll explore how simple actions like reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling can make a big impact. By the end, students will learn how to bring eco-friendly habits into their classrooms and playgrounds, turning their school into a greener, cleaner space for everyone.

1. Introduction & Icebreaker o Discuss “Why our planet matters” and introduce the Greener Lebanon Project. 2. Understanding Climate Change o Interactive session on causes, effects, and relevance to daily life. 3. From Awareness to Action o Demonstrate how to implement a classroom and school-wide recycling program. o Students identify areas for recycling bins and discuss collection routines. 4. Eco Club Initiatives & Volunteering ( o Explain how the youth will create ongoing initiatives: Climate preservation campaigns Waste reduction projects School and community volunteering opportunities 5. Planning & Commitment o Students create action plans for their classrooms/playgrounds. o Commit to regular participation in eco-friendly activities and volunteering projects.
