The Training of Trainers (ToT) on Climate Education aims to empower young individuals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to facilitate engaging and informative educational sessions on climate change for their peers. This intensive six-hour training will be held at LOST’s Agricultural Academy in the Community Farm – Baalbek, on Friday, October 4th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, as part of the Greener Lebanon Program implemented by the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST).

The training will provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of key climate concepts, environmental challenges, and the importance of youth-led climate action. It will also focus on developing facilitation and communication skills tailored for peer-to-peer learning, emphasizing interactive and participatory methods. The ToT will combine theoretical input, group discussions, role-playing, and hands-on practice, allowing participants to explore and apply different facilitation techniques.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to confidently deliver a 45-minute climate education session, using creative tools and practical activities to simplify complex topics and foster active engagement among youth. Ultimately, the training seeks to build a network of informed and motivated young facilitators who can raise awareness, inspire their peers, and promote collective action toward a more sustainable and greener Lebanon.
