The “A’ l-Fiyyat” initiative in Kharayeb aims to transform the town’s public park into a green and welcoming space through a community-driven tree planting campaign. Led by 25 youth in coordination with the municipality, the project seeks to plant 47 native trees — including walnut, pine, and carob — to provide natural shade, improve air quality, and create a healthy space for recreation. The initiative promotes youth-led climate action, community engagement, and sustainable environmental stewardship, turning the park into a symbol of collective responsibility and renewal.

Mobilization: Engage youth volunteers through awareness campaigns and registration on the Nahnoo platform; assign planting tasks and prepare materials. Execution: Conduct the tree-planting activity over several days, with youth and municipal participation, planting 47 trees across the park. Follow-Up: Assign “tree guardians” among youth volunteers to ensure regular watering, maintenance, and monitoring of tree health. Evaluation: Assess success based on tree survival rates, youth engagement, and increased park usage by residents, ensuring long-term sustainability through ongoing collaboration with the municipality.
