The volunteer opportunity plan

Objective To improve the environment of the Beddawi Center through tree planting and awareness activities led by youth, while strengthening community responsibility and ownership. Activities & Steps Training Workshop: Basics of Tree Planting and Care Timeline: One day (3 hours). Tasks: Attend training, participate in practical activities. Resources: Training hall, planting tools, awareness materials. Tree Planting Day: Full-Day Community Event Timeline: One full day (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM). Tasks: Rehabilitation of planting basins. Planting tree saplings. Using tools (shovels, sprayer). Resources: Saplings, shovels, sprayer, water. Support provided: Lunch + snacks for volunteers. Awareness Campaign: Posters, Youth Talks, Community Outreach Timeline: One week (spread over several days). Tasks: Design and distribute posters, deliver short youth sessions, share messages via community channels and social media. Resources: Posters, printed awareness materials. Follow-up Visits: Monthly Tree Checks and Watering Timeline: One visit per month for 3 months. Tasks: Monitor tree growth, watering, cleaning planting basins, recording notes. Resources: Sprayer, watering tools, extra saplings if needed. Support provided: Snacks for volunteers during visits. Provided to Participants Work tools (shovels, sprayers, saplings). Awareness materials (posters, handouts). Lunch during the Tree Planting Day. Snacks during activities and follow-up visits.
