It includes an explanation of the activities and steps necessary to implement the opportunity, with an explanation of the time periods and costs for each activity and for the entire opportunity, as providing this information accurately reflects the professionalism of those in charge of the opportunity and their experience in the field of community work.
The plan for the day is as follows: 09:00 – 09:15 | Arrival & Registration Volunteers will be welcomed and registered. Safety equipment such as gloves and masks, along with trash bags, will be distributed. A brief introduction will be given on the objectives of the activity, safety rules, and proper waste sorting procedures. 09:15 – 11:00 | Clean-Up Activity Volunteers will be divided into small teams and assigned specific areas within the selected community or public space. The teams will collect solid waste and sort it into recyclable materials (plastic, paper, glass, metals), non-recyclable waste, and reusable items. Progress will be documented through photos, videos, and recording the amount of waste collected. 11:00 – 11:30 | Waste Collection & Disposal Coordination All collected waste will be transported to a central collection point. Recyclable materials will be placed in designated bags and coordinated with Live Love Recycle or other recycling partners for proper disposal. 11:30 – 12:00 | Debrief & Closing A group discussion will be held to review the outcomes of the activity and address any challenges encountered. The day will conclude with a group photo, expressions of gratitude to the volunteers, and closing remarks.
