As part of its ongoing environmental efforts, the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) organized a volunteer activity dedicated to collecting solid waste at Saadnayel Public Secondary School, with the expected participation of around 27 student volunteers from the school in this purposeful initiative.
The activity will begin at 4:00 p.m. with volunteer registration, followed by safety instructions and guidance. Afterwards, volunteers will be divided into organized teams to collect and sort waste in the designated area, with the goal of gathering 30 kilograms of plastic.
All necessary supplies will be provided, including gloves and waste bags, along with transportation to and from the site. Refreshments and snacks will also be available throughout the event to maintain volunteers’ energy. Coordinators will accompany the teams to provide support, ensure smooth operations, and guarantee safety.
This event reflects our strong commitment to environmental volunteering and our dedication to protecting the natural beauty of the Saadnayel area.

The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteer campaign at Saadnayel Public HighSchool on September 11, starting at 4:00 p.m., to collect and sort 30 kilograms of plastic waste from the surrounding area. Around 27 volunteers are expected to participate, beginning with safety instructions and team division. Equipped with gloves, waste bags, and safety vests, the teams will collect and sort waste until around 6:00 p.m., with a break and refreshments provided midway. The campaign will conclude with documentation of the results and words of appreciation to the volunteers. This initiative aims to promote environmental awareness, encourage teamwork, and contribute to cleaning public spaces in the Saadnayel area.
