At Makani Borj Abi Haidar center, we noticed a high use of plastic and paper waste, with little recycling.
Youth are key to change — by learning to sort waste, they can build better habits and help protect the environment.

The volunteer opportunity plan

The initiative will promote waste sorting and recycling at the Borj Abi Haidar Makani Center. Youth will decorate bins for paper and plastic, receive training on proper waste sorting, and lead awareness efforts with other students. The bins will be placed throughout the center to make sorting easier. A partner company will collect the waste for recycling. Location: Makani Borj Abi Haidar Center Date: September 29 Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
