As part of our ongoing environmental efforts, LOST is organizing a volunteer activity dedicated to collecting solid waste in the areas surrounding MAKANI Beit Chema center with an expected participation of approximately 45 volunteers in this impactful initiative.
The activity will kick off at 3:00 PM with volunteer registration, followed by a safety briefing. Volunteers will then be divided into organized teams to collect and sort waste in designated zone, with the goal of collecting 50 kilograms of plastic.
All necessary supplies including gloves and trash bags—will be provided. Transportation to and from the site will be arranged, and refreshments and light snacks will be available throughout the event to keep volunteers energized. Coordinators will accompany the teams to provide support, ensure safety, and maintain smooth operations.
This activity reflects our deep commitment to environmental volunteerism and our dedication to preserving the natural beauty of Beit Chema.

The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteer campaign at the MAKANI Beit Chema community center on September 16th, starting at 3:00 p.m., to collect and sort 50 kilograms of plastic waste from the surrounding area. Around 45 volunteers are expected to participate, beginning with safety instructions and team division. Equipped with gloves, garbage bags, and safety vests, the teams will work on collecting and sorting waste until around 5:00 p.m., with a break and refreshments provided midway. The campaign will conclude with documenting the results and extending appreciation to the volunteers. This initiative aims to raise environmental awareness, encourage teamwork, and contribute to cleaning public spaces in the Beit Chema.
