As part of our ongoing environmental efforts, LOST is organizing a volunteer activity dedicated to collecting solid waste in the areas surrounding Taalabeya's Highschool, with an expected participation of approximately 60 volunteers in this impactful initiative.
The activity will kick off at 2:00 PM with volunteer registration, followed by a safety briefing. Volunteers will then be divided into organized teams to collect and sort waste in designated zone, with the goal of collecting 60 kilograms of plastic.
All necessary supplies including gloves and trash bags—will be provided. Transportation to and from the site will be arranged, and refreshments and light snacks will be available throughout the event to keep volunteers energized.
Friendly coordinators will accompany the teams to provide support, ensure safety, and maintain smooth operations.
This activity reflects our deep commitment to environmental volunteerism and our dedication to preserving the natural beauty of Taalabeya.

The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteer campaign at Taalabeya High School on September 10th, starting at 2:00 p.m., to collect and sort 60 kilograms of plastic waste in the surrounding area. Around 60 volunteers are expected to participate, beginning with a safety briefing and team assignments. Equipped with gloves, garbage bags, and safety vests, the teams will collect and sort waste until approximately 4:00 p.m., with a short break and refreshments provided midway. The campaign will conclude with the documentation of results and a note of appreciation to the volunteers. This initiative aims to raise environmental awareness, encourage teamwork, and contribute to the cleanliness of public spaces in Taalabeya.
