Through participation in the Climate Action Educational Session, youth will gain a range of knowledge and skills, including: - Understanding the basics of climate change: its causes, consequences, and impacts at both local and global levels. - Awareness of the links between individual behavior and environmental degradation, and the importance of making environmentally responsible choices. - Familiarity with key concepts such as sustainability and climate justice, and their relevance to marginalized communities. - Acquiring practical, eco-friendly habits that can be applied in daily life, such as waste reduction and resource conservation. - Enhancing critical thinking and engaging in interactive dialogue on environmental issues and climate action.

The Climate Educational Action Session is a training and awareness-raising opportunity aimed at enhancing youth understanding of climate change issues, their impact on the environment and communities, and encouraging them to take practical steps toward sustainability. Session Objectives: - Raise environmental awareness among youth (ages 15–25) about climate change. - Explain the local and global impacts of climate change. - Empower youth to adopt environmentally friendly daily practices. Training Content: - A simplified introduction to climate change and its causes. - Climate change impacts in Lebanon and around the world. - Interactive activities and discussion questions. - Visual presentations (photos, videos, infographics). Practical steps to protect the environment: - Waste reduction - Water and energy conservation - Protection of natural resources Session Duration: 45 minutes per youth group.
