"Revive Our Roots” is a one-day youth-led initiative aimed at beautifying the neglected Roman Temple in Majdal Anjar. Thirty local youth will symbolically clean the temple grounds, plant over 100 dirt-resistant flowers, and install three professional aluminum directional signs across town to guide visitors to the site.
This initiative reconnects young people with their cultural heritage, promotes civic environmental responsibility, and enhances public access to a forgotten historical landmark. Carried out in collaboration with the municipality’s Social and Cultural Committee and supported by Anera, the project fosters a deeper sense of ownership, pride, and long-term community engagement."
