Eligibility Criteria – Greener Lebanon To join our environmental and climate action efforts, applicants should meet the following: Passion for the Environment A strong interest in climate action, sustainability, or conservation, and readiness to join clean-ups, awareness sessions, tree planting, and more. Age Range Open to youth aged 15–24 years. Commitment Available for at least 4 hours/week or 1.5 weekends/month, and able to attend trainings and events on time. Team Player Respectful, open-minded, and able to work well in diverse groups. Preparedness Willing to work outdoors; positive and resilient in challenging situations. Basic Knowledge (Preferred) Familiarity with climate issues, SDGs (especially Goal 13), or climate justice is a plus—but not required. Training is provided. Communication Skills Able to express ideas clearly through speech, writing, or social media. Creative storytelling is welcome! Respect & Inclusion Zero tolerance for discrimination or disrespect. All volunteers must uphold values of fairness and equity. PSEA Policy Compliance Volunteers must attend training on preventing sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA) and maintain respectful behavior at all times. Any violations may lead to removal or legal action. Community Knowledge (Bonus) Preference for those familiar with local communities where activities will take place. Willingness to Learn Open to feedback, growth, and learning about sustainability, climate advocacy, and policy. • Motivation & Passion: Strong interest in environmental issues and willingness to take initiative in climate action. (✅ Required) • Leadership Potential: Ability to inspire and guide peers, facilitate discussions, and take responsibility. (✅ Required) • Commitment: Willingness to dedicate at least 4 hours/week or 1.5 weekends/month. (✅ Required) • Communication Skills: Ability to speak Arabic, engage audiences, and share key messages through verbal or digital means. (✅ Required) • Team Collaboration: Open to working with diverse groups and receptive to feedback. (✅ Required) • Public Engagement Readiness: Confidence to lead or co-lead community sessions and outreach activities. (✅ Required) • Basic Environmental Knowledge: Familiarity with SDGs, especially Goal 13 (Climate Action), is a plus. (➕ Preferred) • Previous Experience In Volunteerism: Previous involvement in clean-ups, awareness campaigns, or youth initiatives. (➕ Preferred) • Digital Literacy: Ability to use online tools for communication, learning, or promotion. (➕ Preferred)


The training and participation plan
It includes an explanation of the activities and steps necessary to implement the opportunity, with an explanation of the time periods and costs for each activity and for the entire opportunity, as providing this information accurately reflects the professionalism of those in charge of the opportunity and their experience in the field of community work.

The Training of Trainers (ToT) will take place over a full day, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, designed to equip motivated youth with the knowledge and skills to lead climate action initiatives in their communities. Schedule & Activities: 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Registration and Welcome 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Introduction to Climate Change and Sustainability 11:00 AM – 11:15 AM: Coffee Break 11:15 AM – 12:45 PM: Skills for Effective Climate Advocacy 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM: Lunch Break 1:45 PM – 3:15 PM: Facilitation and Leadership Training 3:15 PM – 3:30 PM: Coffee Break 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: Planning Community Climate Action Projects 5:00 PM – 5:45 PM: Presentations and Feedback 5:45 PM – 6:00 PM: Closing and Next Steps
