As part of its ongoing environmental efforts, the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteer activity aimed at collecting solid waste from the area surrounding LOST's Community Farm in Baalbek. Approximately 21 volunteers are expected to participate in this meaningful initiative.
The activity will begin at 5:00 PM, followed by a safety briefing. Volunteers will then be divided into organized teams to collect and sort waste within designated areas, with the goal of collecting 20 kilograms of plastic waste.
All necessary supplies, including gloves and trash bags, will be provided. Transportation to and from the site will be arranged, along with refreshments and light snacks throughout the event to maintain volunteers’ energy. Coordinators will accompany the teams to provide support, ensure safety, and oversee smooth operations.
This event reflects our deep commitment to environmental volunteerism and our dedication to preserving the natural beauty of the Baalbek region.

The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a plastic waste collection and sorting activity at the Academy of the Community Farm in Baalbek on July 25, starting at 5:00 PM. Approximately 21 volunteers will participate by collecting around 20 kilograms of plastic from their areas and bringing it to the academy to be sorted and weighed.
