The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteer campaign in the Taalabeya area, specifically for Taalabeya's Youth Club in the local football stadium, on July 23. The activity will start at 5:00 PM and aims to collect and sort 50 kilograms of plastic waste from the surrounding areas. Approximately 45 student volunteers are expected to participate, beginning with registration and distribution of supplies, followed by a safety briefing and team assignments. Equipped with gloves, waste bags, and safety vests, the teams will collect and sort waste until around 7:00 PM, with a break and refreshments provided midway. Coordinators will accompany the fieldwork to ensure safety and efficiency. Transportation to and from the site will be arranged, along with all necessary supplies, including protective equipment, water, and light snacks. The campaign will conclude with documentation of the results and a word of thanks to the volunteers. This initiative aims to raise environmental awareness, encourage teamwork, and contribute to a cleaner Taalabaya.
