As part of our ongoing environmental efforts, the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteer activity dedicated to collecting solid waste at the Al-Jarrah Scouts – Saadnayel Troop. Around 19 student volunteers from the mentioned scout group are expected to participate in this purposeful initiative.
The activity will begin at 5:00 PM, volunteers will be divided into organized teams to collect and sort waste in the designated area, with the goal of gathering 20 kilograms of plastic.
All necessary supplies will be provided, including gloves and waste bags, in addition to transportation to and from the site. The teams will be accompanied by coordinators to offer support and ensure smooth and safe operations.
This initiative reflects our strong commitment to environmental volunteerism and our dedication to preserving the natural beauty of the Saadnayel area.

The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteer campaign in the Saadnayel area, specifically at Al-Jarrah Scouts center, on July 25. The activity will start at 5:00 PM and aims to collect and sort 20 kilograms of plastic waste from the surrounding areas. A total of 19 student volunteers are expected to participate, beginning with safety briefing and team assignments. Equipped with gloves, waste bags, and safety vests, the teams will carry out the collection and sorting process until approximately 7:00 PM, with a scheduled break for refreshments halfway through. Field coordinators will accompany the teams to ensure both safety and efficiency. Transportation to and from the site will be provided, along with all necessary supplies. The campaign will conclude with documentation of the results and an expression of gratitude to the volunteers. This initiative aims to raise environmental awareness, encourage teamwork, and contribute to cleaning public spaces in the Saadnayel area.
