As part of our efforts to celebrate World Environment Day, this environmental volunteer event titled “Echoes of Clean Baalbek” follows the “Baalbek Blossoms in Green” initiative and focuses exclusively on solid waste collection around the Baalbek Castle area, with the participation of approximately 100 volunteers.
The goal is to promote environmental awareness and teamwork while contributing to cleaner, more welcoming public spaces. The gathering will begin at 3:00 PM with volunteer registration and a safety briefing. Volunteers will then be divided into organized groups to collect and sort waste in designated areas surrounding the castle. All necessary supplies, including gloves and trash bags, will be provided. Transportation to and from the site will be arranged, and refreshments and light snacks will be available throughout the event to keep participants energized. Friendly coordinators will accompany the teams to provide support and ensure smooth, safe operations. This activity reflects our ongoing commitment to environmental volunteerism and to protecting both the natural and historical beauty of Baalbek.
