Basic Knowledge of Environmental Issues – Familiarity with climate change, pollution, and sustainability is considered an advantage. Strong Communication Skills – Ability to clearly convey information to others in the community. Teamwork and Collaboration – Willingness to work with other volunteers and community members. Motivation and Commitment – Passion for protecting the environment and creating positive change. Presentation and Facilitation Skills (or willingness to learn) – Comfort speaking in public or leading awareness sessions after the training. Willingness to Learn – A positive attitude toward gaining new knowledge and skills related to climate change and community outreach.


Opportunity requirements

Basic understanding of environmental science Knowledge of concepts like global warming, carbon emissions, renewable energy sources. Research and analytical skills Ability to collect data, analyze environmental trends, and understand scientific information. Critical thinking Evaluating environmental challenges and proposing practical and innovative solutions. Communication skills Ability to express ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing, especially for awareness raising or advocacy. Teamwork and collaboration Ability to work effectively within teams and community initiatives. Adaptability and openness to learning Willingness to learn new information, tools, and technologies related to climate change. Digital skills (preferred) Using digital platforms or GIS software to monitor environmental data.


The training and participation plan
It includes an explanation of the activities and steps necessary to implement the opportunity, with an explanation of the time periods and costs for each activity and for the entire opportunity, as providing this information accurately reflects the professionalism of those in charge of the opportunity and their experience in the field of community work.

Two-day Training of Trainers (TOT): Participants will undergo an intensive two-day training covering key concepts, skills, and tools related to climate change. Knowledge Sharing: After the training, participants will share the acquired knowledge with their professional and community backgrounds to raise awareness and understanding. Practical Application and Participation: Participants will actively engage in climate change initiatives and projects within their communities or workplaces, applying the skills learned. Follow-up and Support: Continuous support will be provided through follow-up sessions, experience sharing, and additional learning materials to ensure sustainability and impact.
