About Nahno Volunteers: Lebanon’s National Youth Volunteering Platform
“Nahno Volunteers” is the first national platform dedicated to youth volunteering in Lebanon. It was launched under the leadership of the Ministry of Social Affairs, in partnership with UNICEF, funded by the Government of the Netherlands, and implemented by Anera and Live Love Lebanon, with the aim of inspiring young people to drive a positive and sustainable impact in their local communities.
Through one platform, young people can discover verified volunteering opportunities offered by non-governmental organizations (NGOs), public and private institutions, educational institutions, and other organizations across Lebanon. Whether they want to gain professional experience, build new skills, meet like-minded people, or give back to their communities, Nahno Volunteers platform makes it easier for young people to get involved.

The Nahno Volunteers platform aims to unify and expand youth volunteering across Lebanon by creating accessible, meaningful opportunities for young people to participate in their communities.
Through strategic partnerships across the public and private sectors, the platform helps young people, aged between 15 and 29, gain practical experience, develop valuable skills, and take an active role in shaping more connected communities.
Key Focus Areas:
Diverse Volunteer Opportunities: Discover verified volunteering opportunities across a wide range of sectors (including help, education, environment, entrepreneurship, arts, sports and community development) and in different regions across Lebanon. Young people can find opportunities that match their interests, skills, and career goals.
Skill Development, Networking, & Career Readiness: Volunteering is an opportunity to develop life and personal skills, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and professional networks, among other areas that support future educational and career paths.
Diverse Training Opportunities: The platform provides youth with access to specialized training programs and courses across multiple sectors, equipping them with direct, hands-on experience to confidently enter the job market. These trainings focus on building life and technical skills that drive academic and professional success and support their growth in all aspects of life.
Volunteer Rights & Tracking: The Nahno Volunteers platform helps protect and recognize volunteers by providing certificates that document their participation and hours completed, offering an official record of their volunteering experience.
