As part of our ongoing environmental efforts, LOST organized a volunteer activity dedicated to collecting solid waste in the areas surrounding Tamnine tahta Highschool, with an expected participation of approximately 200 volunteers in this impactful initiative.
The activity will kick off at 2:00 PM by a safety briefing. Volunteers will then be divided into organized teams to collect and sort waste in designated zone, with the goal of collecting 200 kilograms of plastic.
All necessary supplies including gloves and trash bags—will be provided. Transportation to and from the site will be arranged, and refreshments and light snacks will be available throughout the event to keep volunteers energized.
Friendly coordinators will accompany the teams to provide support, ensure safety, and maintain smooth operations.
This activity reflects our deep commitment to environmental volunteerism and our dedication to preserving the natural beauty of Tamnine Tahta.

The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteering campaign at Tamnine Tahta Highschool on 20 November, starting at 2:00 PM, to collect and sort 200 kilograms of plastic waste from the surrounding area. Approximately 200 volunteers are expected to participate, starting with safety briefing and team assignments. Equipped with gloves, waste bags, and protective vests, the teams will carry out waste collection and sorting activities until around 4:00 PM, with a mid-session break and refreshments provided. The campaign will conclude with documentation of the results and expressions of appreciation to the volunteers. This initiative aims to promote environmental awareness, encourage teamwork, and contribute to the cleaning of public spaces in Tamnine Tahta.
