Commitment to attend throughout the entire activity Ability to work in an outdoor environment Adherence to safety procedures Enthusiasm and initiative

Through participating in the environmental tree-planting campaign, youth will gain a set of knowledge and skills, most notably: Understanding the importance of preserving public spaces and protecting them Learning about the impact of trees on public health and ecosystems Strengthening teamwork and collaboration for a shared environmental goal Developing a sense of belonging and responsibility toward the community and the environment

The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteer tree-planting campaign at LOST Baalbek on September 26, starting at 10:00 AM, where 90 volunteers will plant 90 trees in the designated area. The activity will begin with a safety briefing and team division, with volunteers provided with gloves and the necessary tools for planting the trees. Teams will continue the planting process until approximately 1:00 PM, with a break and refreshments provided to keep participants energized. The campaign will conclude with documentation of the results and a thank-you to all volunteers for their efforts. This initiative aims to raise environmental awareness, promote teamwork, foster a sense of belonging and responsibility toward the community and nature, and contribute to increasing green cover in the area.
