Climate change is one of the most pressing challenges of our time, and raising awareness among youth is a vital step toward building a more informed, proactive, and environmentally responsible generation.
This opportunity invites passionate volunteers to take part in a day of educational sessions designed to engage young people (aged 15 to 25) on climate change, its local and global impacts, and the actions they can take to contribute to a healthier and more sustainable planet.
These sessions will be conducted by Live Love Lebanon in coordination with UNICEF, as part of a unified and coordinated effort to reach multiple youth groups. Each session will last approximately 45 minutes and will feature interactive discussions, visual materials, and simple, actionable messages on sustainability—such as reducing waste, conserving water and energy, protecting natural resources, and understanding the importance of climate justice.
Champion volunteers will take part in facilitating or supporting the logistical organization of the sessions.
Participants will receive prior training on the content and facilitation methods.
Active volunteers will be awarded certificates of participation.
The initiative offers a valuable opportunity to enhance youth leadership and communication skills
Youth will be participating and leading this opportunity and becoming true Eco-Citizens & Eco-Heroes!

Through participation in the Climate Action Educational Session, youth will gain a range of knowledge and skills, including: - Understanding the basics of climate change: its causes, consequences, and impacts at both local and global levels. - Awareness of the links between individual behavior and environmental degradation, and the importance of making environmentally responsible choices. - Familiarity with key concepts such as sustainability and climate justice, and their relevance to marginalized communities. - Acquiring practical, eco-friendly habits that can be applied in daily life, such as waste reduction and resource conservation. - Enhancing critical thinking and engaging in interactive dialogue on environmental issues and climate action.

The Climate Education session will run from 9:00 AM to10:00am, youth will let about various topics pertaining climate actions and climate change in an informal and participative manner.
