As part of its ongoing environmental efforts, the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteer activity aimed at collecting solid waste from the area surrounding Junior Knights School in Zahle, with an expected participation of around 10 volunteers in this meaningful initiative.
The activity will start at 8:00 AM, followed by a safety briefing. Volunteers will then be divided into organized teams to collect and sort waste within designated areas, aiming to collect 10 kilograms of plastic waste.
All necessary materials will be provided, including gloves and waste bags. Transportation to and from the site will be arranged, and refreshments will be offered throughout the activity to keep the volunteers energized. Coordinators will accompany the teams to provide support, ensure safety, and maintain smooth operations.
