As part of our ongoing environmental efforts, the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteer activity dedicated to collecting solid waste in the area surrounding the Zahle branch center. Around 15 student volunteers are expected to participate.
The activity will begin at 9:00 AM with safety instructions and guidance. Volunteers will then be divided into organized teams to collect and sort waste in the designated area, with the goal of gathering 20 kilograms of plastic.
All necessary supplies will be provided, including gloves and trash bags, along with transportation to and from the site. Refreshments and light snacks will be available throughout the event to keep volunteers energized. Teams will be accompanied by coordinators to offer support and ensure smooth and safe operations.
This activity reflects our strong commitment to environmental volunteering and our dedication to preserving the natural beauty of the Zahle area.

The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteering campaign at Zahle's LOST Center on July 30th , starting at 9:00 AM, to collect and sort 20 kilograms of plastic waste from the surrounding area. Approximately 15 volunteers are expected to participate, starting with safety briefing and team assignments. Equipped with gloves, waste bags, and protective vests, the teams will carry out waste collection and sorting activities until around 11:00 AM, with a mid-session break and refreshments provided. The campaign will conclude with documentation of the results and expressions of appreciation to the volunteers. This initiative aims to promote environmental awareness, encourage teamwork, and contribute to the cleaning of public spaces in the Zahle area.
