As part of our ongoing environmental efforts, the Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) organized a volunteer activity dedicated to collecting solid waste at the Jarrah Scout – Marej Troop, with the expected participation of around 15 student volunteers.
The activity will kick off at 5:00 PM, starting with safety instructions and guidance. Volunteers will then be divided into organized teams to collect and sort waste in the designated area, with the goal of gathering 20 kilograms of plastic.
All necessary supplies will be provided, including gloves and waste bags, along with transportation to and from the site. A group of coordinators will accompany the teams to provide support and ensure the work proceeds smoothly and safely.
This event reflects our strong commitment to environmental volunteering and our dedication to preserving the natural beauty of the Marej area.

The Lebanese Organization for Studies and Training (LOST) is organizing a volunteering campaign in the Marej area on July 27, starting at 5:00 PM, to collect and sort 20 kilograms of plastic waste from the surrounding areas. Around 15 volunteers are expected to participate, starting with safety briefing and team assignments. Equipped with gloves, waste bags, and protective vests, the teams will carry out the collection and sorting activities until approximately 7:00 PM, with a short break and refreshments provided mid-way. Coordinators will accompany the fieldwork to ensure both safety and efficiency. Transportation to and from the site will be arranged, and all necessary supplies will be provided. The campaign will conclude with documentation of the results and words of appreciation for the volunteers. This initiative aims to raise environmental awareness, encourage teamwork, and contribute to cleaning up public spaces in the Marej area.
