The Youth Facilitators are a group of motivated and engaged young individuals who will participate in a Training of Trainers (ToT) program focused on climate change. Through this training, they will gain the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to lead awareness-raising activities within their communities. Once trained, they will guide and empower other youth to better understand climate change, its impact, and the importance of taking action to protect the environment.

Lebanon is facing increasing environmental challenges due to climate change, including rising temperatures, water scarcity, forest degradation, and pollution. In light of these challenges, youth play a pivotal role in leading environmental action through innovative initiatives aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change and promoting environmental sustainability. The project "Climate Change and Youth-Led Environmental Action in Lebanon" aims to empower young people to become key actors in addressing environmental crises. The project focuses on building their capacities through training programs, supporting youth-led initiatives, and strengthening partnerships between youth, government entities, and civil society organizations. Training Objectives: Raise youth awareness about climate change issues and their impact on Lebanon. Develop leadership and advocacy skills to help young people influence environmental policies. Support youth-led environmental initiatives such as tree planting campaigns, recycling, and the use of renewable energy. Promote collaboration between youth and decision-makers to strengthen sustainable environmental policies. The project utilizes an interactive platform, We Are Volunteers, which brings together youth interested in environmental issues. This platform enables them to share experiences, learn from successful initiatives, and work together toward a more sustainable future for Lebanon.
