Join us in a Focus Group Discussion to help improve mental health services for youth in Lebanon.

Inclusion Criteria:
Aged 14–17 - Female
Able to commute to the session location
Able to provide both parental consent and participant assent
Compensation: A small transportation compensation will be provided for each participant.

Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) Overview: The FGDs aim to gather the opinions and experiences of adolescents aged 14 to 17 regarding a mental health intervention designed to help manage difficult emotions. Registration and Confirmation: Participants will be contacted to confirm their registration and provide them with the necessary information. Consent to Participate: Participants will be provided with assent forms for their signature, along with consent forms for their parents to sign, ensuring prior approval for participation in the sessions. Discussion Sessions: The purpose of the focus groups and a brief overview of the program will be explained. Participation in the Discussion: Volunteers will participate in an interactive discussion session lasting two hours, where a series of questions will be posed to understand how the mental health program can be improved and tailored to better meet the needs of adolescents. Timeframe: Session Duration: 2 hours. Date and Location: 21 May 2025 - Tripoli Volunteers' Tasks: Actively participate in the discussion, share ideas, and express personal opinions. What Will Be Provided: Transportation Allowance: All participants will be provided with a transportation allowance. Light Snacks: Light snacks will be offered during the session.
